Trezor Suite is the official application for managing your Trezor hardware wallet. It provides a secure interface for sending and receiving cryptocurrency, tracking your portfolio, updating device firmware, and configuring security settings. While your private keys always stay on the device itself, Trezor Suite acts as the bridge between your Trezor and the blockchain — so using an authentic, up-to-date version of the app is essential.
Always download Trezor Suite directly from suite.trezor.io. Avoid third-party download sites, links shared in social media or chat, and any installer not obtained from the official domain.

Download and Install

Follow the steps for your operating system below. Each platform has a dedicated installer, and Trezor publishes cryptographic signatures so you can verify the download before running it.
Trezor Suite requires Windows 10 or later, macOS 10.14 (Mojave) or later, or Ubuntu 18.04 or later. Older operating systems are not supported.
  1. Open your browser and go to suite.trezor.io.
  2. Click Download for Windows to download the .exe installer.
  3. On the same page, download the accompanying signature file and the Trezor signing key listed under “Verify download.”
  4. Open PowerShell and run the provided checksum command to confirm the file hash matches the published value. Do not skip this step.
  5. Once verified, double-click the .exe file to launch the installer.
  6. Follow the on-screen prompts — accept the license agreement, choose an install location, and click Install.
  7. When installation completes, launch Trezor Suite from the Start menu or desktop shortcut.

Trezor Suite Web

If you prefer not to install a desktop application, you can access most Trezor Suite features directly in your browser at suite.trezor.io/web. The web version supports the same core workflows — portfolio management, sending and receiving funds, and device settings — without requiring any software installation. The desktop app is generally recommended for regular use because it operates in a more isolated environment and does not depend on browser extensions or web connectivity for the core interface. For occasional access from a trusted computer, the web version is a convenient alternative.

Connect Your Device

Once Trezor Suite is open, connect your Trezor to your computer using the USB cable included in the box.
  • Your device screen will display a USB icon or a connection prompt, confirming it has detected the cable.
  • Trezor Suite will automatically recognize the device and display a setup or unlock screen.
  • If the app does not detect your device, try a different USB port, check that you are using the original cable, and ensure udev rules are installed if you are on Linux.
